Point Your Domain to Your New Website
This takes about 2 minutes. Just update two DNS records at your domain registrar and your new site will be live at your domain within 30 minutes.
Before You Start
- ✓Your Netlify subdomain (we sent this in your email, e.g. levelup-yourbusiness.netlify.app)
- ✓Login credentials for your domain registrar (Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.)
- ✓About 2 minutes of your time
The Two Records You Need
Replace levelup-yourbusiness.netlify.app with the actual Netlify subdomain from your email.
| Type | Host / Name | Value / Points To |
|---|---|---|
| A | @ | 75.2.60.5 |
| CNAME | www | levelup-yourbusiness.netlify.app |
The A record points your root domain (yourdomain.com). The CNAME points the www version (www.yourdomain.com).

Troubleshooting
- Q:It's been an hour and my domain still shows the old site. — Try clearing your browser cache or opening the site in an incognito window. Some ISPs cache DNS longer than others. If it's been more than 2 hours, reply to our email and we'll check your records.
- Q:I see a "Not Secure" warning. — Netlify automatically provisions an SSL certificate. This can take up to 24 hours after DNS propagation. It usually happens within an hour.
- Q:I don't want to do this myself. — No problem at all. Reply to our email at info@levelupwebsite.com and we'll set up a free 5-minute Zoom call to walk you through it live.
